On the 3rd of February, 2007, my partner and myself set off to Falmouth to start a 30 day cruise. The last person I phoned was Steve, he had not been well and decided not to travel up to the north-east to watch his beloved Arsenal. Everytime we talked it was a "Hello Dear", usually followed by our observations of life in Weatherfield. By the time I returned to these shores Steve had passed away and the funeral taken place. It was so difficult for me to say my goodbye's to such a dear friend. I will never forget you Steve. Love, Martin x
