Steve was an inspirational man to work with (although he would never have let me get away with saying so). He was committed to supporting people with HIV and he worked really hard to do the best he could for people, whatever their situation or background. He was dedicated without being pious, authoritative without being bossy, and quietly supportive to the people he worked with and for. (And he had some great stories

I found Steve to be a very private man, he would let me into his world when catching up with all the soap's especially talking about Corrie, he was a very funny person he made me smile and laugh alot. I'm glad that I knew you, you are sadly missed. love eamxx
